NORWAY – Olive A. Lasselle, 83, of Oxford, died Thursday, July 14, at the Norway Rehabilitation and Living Center.
She was born in South Paris, March 19, 1922, the daughter of Carroll E. and Gertrude L. Davis Edwards. She graduated from Paris High School and worked at A.C. Lawrence Leather Co. She was an Air Force wife for 20 years and traveled a lot.
Olive was a member of the Extension Service, Oxford Senior Citizens and the Maine Archeological Society.
She was married on Nov. 23, 1941 to Eugene Lasselle. He died in 1984.
Survivors include a brother, Harold “Bud” Edwards Sr., and his wife, Jackie, of South Paris; a sister-in-law, Marie Edwards of South Paris; a godson, Gary Herrick of St. Augustine, Fla.; and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by two sisters, Phyllis Knightly and Lillian Thurston and a brother, Francis Edwards.
