HARRISON – “Back to the Past” will include workshops on early crafts on Sunday, Aug. 7, at Scribner’s Mill. Registrants will be able to choose from seven workshops, including basketry, kumihimo braiding, tatting, red work embroidery, stenciling, wood carving and blacksmithing. Horseshoe play
WATERFORD – Waterford Fair horseshoe tournaments will be held beginning at 10 a.m. Saturday and Sunday, July 23 and 24. Singles will be held on Saturday and doubles on Sunday. Entry fee is $5 each day.

BRIDGTON – Red Hat Ladies of the Lakes announce luncheon dates:
Lovell Old Homes Days, Saturday, July 23, be at Wicked Good Store at 9 a.m. and bring a chair.
Wednesday, July 27, 6 p.m. picnic, 7:30 p.m. Bridgton Band Concert, behind Rite Aid. Bring a picnic and chair. All Red Hatters are welcome.
Friday, July 29, Red Hat Luncheon, 1 p.m., meet at Lakeside Grange Hall in Harrison for spaghetti feed, $6 for meal, mail check to Martha Flint. For more information, phone 647-5128.
Upcoming dates for August include the Naples Band Concert and luncheon at Fryeburg’s St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church.
