LEWISTON – Roberta A. Spiller, 74, of Lewiston, died Monday, July 18, at Marshwood Nursing Home.
She was born in Portland, on Sept. 5, 1930, the daughter of Robert and Lyla Nichols Beers. She attended schools in Rumford and had been a homemaker all of her life.
She was employed at the Rumford Community Hospital in the dietary department for 19 years.
She was a 50-year member of the Puritan Rebekah Lodge in Rumford and a past noble grand at Fidelity Lodge in Auburn. She enjoyed oil painting.
She married Glendon Spiller on Nov. 22, 1969.
She is survived by her husband of Lewiston; a brother, David Beers and his wife, Shirley, of Palm Harbor, Fla.; an aunt, Edna Kerr of Mexico; two nieces, Kelly Beers and Kristie Swanman; and a nephew, Craig Beers.
