NORWAY – Norma Freya Griffin, 90, of Oxford, died Thursday, July 21, at Stephens Memorial Hospital in Norway.

She was born Sept. 16, 1914, in Brooklyn, N.Y., and graduated from Atlantic Union College in Massachusetts.

She married Robert B. Griffin of Cliff Island, who predeceased her in 1975.

She taught elementary school in Connecticut and Massachusetts for many years.

Surviving are three children; three sisters; nine grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
