MINOT – A party was recently given for Arthur and Mary Ann Jackman of Minot, in honor of their 50th wedding anniversary.
The event was hosted by their daughters, Diane Jackman Seidman and Julie Meehan, and was held at the Korn-Haus-Keller Restaurant in Lewiston.
Mr. Jackman and the former Mary Ann Collins were married June 25, 1955, at St. Joseph’s Church rectory in Lewiston.
In addition to their two daughters, they have three grandchildren, Joshua Childers of Orlando, Fla., Jason Childers of Bar Harbor and Abigail Meehan of Bellingham, Mass.
Many guests attended including John Collins, Mrs. Jackman’s brother, and his wife, Claire, and Mr. Jackman’s mother, Bertha Jackman.
