LEWISTON – Bruce A. Moulton, 70, a resident of Tradition Way in Livermore Falls, died Friday, July 22, at Central Maine Medical Center, where he had been a patient for two weeks, following a long illness.

He was born on Sept. 11, 1934, in Livermore Falls, the son of Floyd and Lois E. Knowles Moulton. He was a 1952 graduate of Livermore Falls High School.

He served in the U.S. Navy following the Korean War.

On Dec. 15, 1962, he married Roberta Berryman White of Livermore Falls. Prior to joining the Navy, he worked at International Paper, returning, after his service, to the coating prep department.

He retired from International Paper, Androscoggin Mill in 1999.

He served as a selectman for the town of Livermore Falls for 20 years, and continued to stay involved with the affairs of the town of Livermore Falls until his sickness.

He was a member of the Quarter Century Club of International Paper.

He is survived by his mother, Lois E. Moulton, of Livermore Falls; his wife, Roberta, of Livermore Falls; two sons, Bruce Moulton Jr. and Gary Moulton and his wife, Suzette, of Derry, N.H.; two stepdaughters, Gail Farrington and her husband, George, of Nashua, N.H., and Lesley Hickey, of Gardiner; three brothers and their wives, Francis and Ruth Moulton of Jacksonville, Fla., and West Gardiner, William and Anita Moulton of Scarborough and Ft. Myers, Fla., and Lawrence and Sharon Moulton of Ocala, Fla.; a sister, Gloria Moulton of Atlanta, Ga.; eight grandchildren, Amy Timberlake, Nicole, Sara, Ryan, Bryn Farrington, Joshua Hickey, and Tyler and Lucas Moulton; and one great-grandchild, Elise Linton.

He was predeceased by two sons, Steven and Kenneth Moulton.
