LEWISTON – Diane Mary (Stubbs) Mosher, 63, passed away peacefully in her husband’s arms, and with her family surrounding her, at Central Maine Medical Center on the evening of Friday, July 22.

She was born in Rochester, N.H., daughter of the late Lloyd F. and Martha I. (Furrows) Stubbs.

She graduated from Edward Little High School in 1961, and joined the U.S. Army on Nov. 27, 1961. She was honorably discharged on Nov. 12, 1964 as an E-1 Private, and had earned a Good Conduct Medal during her time with the armed forces.

On June 28, 1969, she married her soul mate, Thomas W. Mosher, and together they raised two boys while residing in Minot.

She worked for Elmet Technologies as a machine operator until her retirement in 2004.

She loved planting flowers, shopping trips with her sisters, and especially traveling with her husband by her side. Diane was the tower of strength for everyone that ever entered her life. She could find the smallest bit of goodness in every person she encountered.

As her physical strength deteriorated from cancer, her inner strength never suffered, and she continued to be a positive, loving, and unselfish wife, mother, sister and Mimi. Her ability to surround everyone with love will never be forgotten, and will always be sadly missed.

She is survived by her loving husband, Thomas W. Mosher, of Minot; two sons, Gary L. Mosher and his companion, Terry Binete, of Lisbon Falls, and Kirk T. Mosher and his companion, Diane Bourgoin, of Auburn; three grandchildren, BJ Hill and Dylan Hill of Turner, and Tayler Mosher of Minot; two sisters, Dona and her husband, Roland Beaulieu, of Minot, and Darlene and her husband, John Penpraese, of Raymond; and one brother, Lloyd “Butch” Stubbs Jr. and his companion, Ann-Marie Berrier, of Lewiston.

She was predeceased by her parents; and her sister, Dorothy M. Dostie.
