COLUMBUS, Ohio – Muriel Ann Evers, of Columbus, Ohio, died peacefully at home Friday, July 22, with her family.

She was born on Nov. 21, 1927 in Auburn.

She graduated in 1957 from Northwestern University School of Dental Hygiene.

She married Sidney Robert Evers on Nov. 26, 1959.

She was a practicing hygienist in Peoria, Ill., Indianapolis, Ind., and Phoenix, Ariz.

She is survived by her husband, Sidney, of 46 years; a brother, Romeo Girard of Shreveport, La.; a son, Nickolas Girard Evers; a daughter, Marielle (John) Seaver; granddaughter, Katrina Marie Seaver; adoptive children, Donald and Etheline Starks, and their children, Donysha and Donovan, and Steve and Kathy Spicer.

She was predeceased by her parents, Leo and Lauretta Girard.
