FARMINGTON – A Starks woman apparently admitted to selling morphine pills after police found a paint-ball gun and paint balls that were suspected of being used to shoot at houses on Porter Hill Road on Sunday, police said Monday.

Nicole Hooker, 19, was arrested on a charge of unlawful trafficking in Schedule W drugs: prescription medication, and summoned on a charge of disorderly contact, said Farmington police Lt. Jack Peck on Monday.

Farmington police officer Matthew Brann had been investigating complaints of houses’ being shot with paint balls about 10:30 p.m. Sunday when he located a vehicle parked at the Fairbanks ball park off Route 4, Peck said.

While talking to the vehicle’s occupants, Peck said, Brann observed paint-ball equipment in the vehicle. When Brann reached into retrieve the gun and paint balls, he found morphine pills, Peck said.

Hooker apparently admitted to selling morphine pills and shooting at the houses with the paint-ball gun, Peck said.

The case remains under investigation, he said.
