RUMFORD – A Mass of Christian Burial for Mr. Redmond was celebrated Monday morning at St. Athanasius-St. John Catholic Church. The Rev. Angelo LeVasseur was the celebrant and Mark Belanger was the organist. Readers were his son, Master Sgt. David Redmond and his granddaughter, Karen Palmer. The eulogy was given by his daughter, Diane Smith and his son-in-law, Toby Collins. Pallbearers were Perry Palmer, Anthony Collins, Brian Smith, Michael Griffin, Gary Nash, Denis DiConzo and Nicholas Smith. Interment with military honors was at Hanover Cemetery. Services were under the care of S.G. Thibault Funeral Home, Rumford.
