LEWISTON – James “Jim” Thibault, 49, of Oxford, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, July 27, at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center.

He was born in Rangeley on Dec. 9, 1955, the son of James and Sally Orum Bachelder.

He attended Oxford Hills High School and was a self-employed mechanic.

He is survived by his longtime companion, Brenda Crystal; his mother, Sally; five children, John Bachelder, Joan Thibault, Beth Thibault, and twins, Melissa and Jimmy Thibault; five siblings; and many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his father, James Bachelder, in 2002.
