LEWISTON – Jim and Gail Gregoire-Lawrence of Lewiston are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Rachel Lawrence, to Bill Cohen of Philadelphia, Pa., son of William and Linda Cohen also of Philadelphia, Pa.
Miss Lawrence graduated from St. Dominic Regional High School and received her bachelor’s degree in political science from Bryn Mawr College. She is currently enrolled in Temple University’s graduate school of education. She is spending the summer helping with the her family’s restaurant, Val’s Root Beer Drive-In.
Mr. Cohen is a graduate of Indiana University of PA, with a dual degree in English and education. He currently teaches ninth grade English in Philadelphia.
The wedding will be held on Aug. 6 at Longfellow Garden in Portland.
