LEWISTON – Bonnie Marsh, a former principal at Harrison Elementary School, has been hired to head St. Joseph’s School.
She replaces Andree Tostevin, who left the school earlier this year.
Marsh served as principal of Harrison Elementary for nine years before becoming a teacher in Wells. She applied for the St. Joseph’s position this summer.
The Rev. Michael Seavey, pastor of the parish, said Marsh immediately connected with the search committee. Its members liked her experience and her confidence. They were pleased she was involved with her home church in Bridgton.
“She was just very impressive,” he said.
Marsh begins Monday.
St. Joseph’s School on Main Street serves about 185 pupils in prekindergarten through grade eight.
