AUBURN – New Auburn Senior Citizens met at the Parish Hall on July 6 with President Virginia Levasseur presiding. New members welcomed were Pauline St. Pierre, Lorraine Trembley, Lorraine Gelina, Yvette Chenard, Joanne Coslin, Kristine Hiltz, George Poirier and Judith Poulin.

The next meeting will be held Wednesday, Aug. 3. The annual all-day picnic will be held at the Auburn Armory on Wednesday, Aug. 17. Cost is $3.

The winners of the annual arts and crafts show each received a framed photo of their presentation. Winners were Irene Delorme, first, needlepoint; Henry Raymond, second, a miniature living room set; and Terry Goulet, third, a crocheted bedspread.

Pot of gold winners were Lou Samson, John Boucher, Roland Ayotte and Cecilia McWhinnie. Those observing a birthday during July were honored. Lunch was served and bingo followed.
