LEWISTON – Rene Dumont has been named chief information officer at Sisters of Charity Health System, according to Jim Cassidy, CEO and president of the local health system.

Dumont has been the acting chief information officer since January. He’s has been with Sisters of Charity Health System since 1992. During that time, he has served as vice president for planning, marketing and education. He continues to be responsible for those areas in addition to his new role.

Prior to joining this health system, he served as strategic planner at North Suburban Health Systems in Malden, Mass.

A Lewiston native, Dumont lives in Auburn with his wife and five children. He is a volunteer board member with Advocates for Children and Trinity Jubilee Center.

Mental health program to open

LEWISTON – Richardson Hollow Mental Health Services will open by mid-August an adult mental health case canagement program out of a new office at 130 South High St., Bridgton.

The program is licensed by the state of Maine’s Department of Health and Human Services and is intended for adults who are coping with severe and disabling mental illness or who are AMHI class members. The case managers, now known as community integration workers by DHHS, will help program clients establish and maintain the services needed for independent living and a good quality of life.

Richardson Hollow is a state-licensed mental health agency that is the largest provider of adult in-home support services in Maine and employs more than 215 staff throughout the company.
