AUBURN – Mercedes M. Juneau, 90, formerly of 10 Oak St., Lewiston, died Saturday evening, July 30, at Clover Manor.

She was born in Auburn, Feb. 20, 1915, the daughter of Ernest and Agnes Hamel Laliberte. She was educated in local schools and attended Jordan High School.

She was married Nov. 10, 1933, to Edmond J. Juneau, and he predeceased her June 12, 1992.

She was employed for 39 years at Pepperell Manufacturing and seven years at Falcon Shoe Co., until her retirement in 1979.

She was a member of Saints Peter and Paul Parish. She enjoyed knitting, music, playing cards, bingo and yard sales.

She is survived by two sons, Robert H. Juneau and his wife, Janet, of Litchfield, and Ronald D. Juneau and his wife, Melody, of Parker, Colo.; nine grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
