AUBURN – The Auburn Suburban Little Senior Baseball All-Star team, the District 5 and State champion, is planning a bottle and can drive today to help defray expenses for the costly trip to the East Regional Tournament that starts Saturday at West Deford, N.J.

Anyone desiring to contribute is asked to drop off the cans and bottles at Roopers on Minot Avenue. Anyone wanting to make a donation can make out a check to Auburn Suburban Little League and contact Manager Cliff Meserve at 777-7433, or any ASLL board member.

The Maine champs will be departing Auburn at 7 a.m. Friday, with their first game slated for Saturday at 10 a.m. against the Pennsylvania king.
