OTISFIELD – Dick Feeney, Cumberland County commissioner, presented a check for $5,000 to Tim Wilson, Seeds of Peace Camp director. The funds were raised at the annual Peter J. Feeney Cumberland County Government golf tournament in June. The session, running three weeks, includes 30 students from Maine.

In making the contribution, Feeney said, “The golf tournament was a project my son began years ago, and he had a strong commitment to the Seeds of Peace, so it is right to give our contribution to this wonderful camp to help bring peace to a troubled world.”

Cumberland County government provides services to the residents of the county in the form of deeds, probate court, sheriff’s office, corrections, Cumberland County Civic Center, district attorney’s office, emergency management, emergency dispatch services and maintenance of the courthouse and parking garage for superior and district court.
