AUBURN – The Edward Little High School class of 1960 held its 45th reunion on July 15 and 16. The class gathered at Taber’s on Friday night, then on Saturday morning, members toured the old high school on Academy Street and walked along the riverwalk to view the downtown.

Next 80 classmates gathered at the Turner Highlands for dinner and a class program. Buster Downing served as master of ceremonies, and he recognized 30 classmates who had traveled from 15 states outside of Maine to attend.

Traveling the farthest were Pat Brimigion Spire from San Diego, Calif., and Brian Smalley from Oakland, Calif. A highlight of the evening was Sally Foss Gagnon leading the school song and several 50/60’s songs.

Chairwoman Mary Ann Wilkinson Norcross thanked everyone for the donations, made in memory of deceased classmates, to the ELHS Alumni Scholarship Fund. The class has already begun to review and plan its 50th reunion.
