The Theater Project’s International Teen Theater Camp will stage “The Mouse That Roared” at 7:30 p.m. today and at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 6.
The cast of 22 includes young people from New York, Michigan and Maine, and Polish teenagers Pawel Fraczek and Gregorz Znojko from Krakow. Directors are Al Miller, The Theater Project’s artistic director, and Keith Anctil, Robert Wyrod from Krakow, Poland, and Young Company graduate Molly Haley, who will stage manage the show.
“The Mouse That Roared” tells the story of Grand Fenwick, a tiny duchy in Europe. Its only product is a wine called Pinot Grand Fenwick, which has recently been copied and undersold by a Californian winery. The only solution to Grand Fenwick’s disastrous economic situation is to invade The United States.
Joe Faustine from Brunswick is Tully Bascom and Aidan McIlhenny from Cumberland is The Duchess Gloriana the Twelfth.
