LIVERMORE FALLS – Patricia A. Sweeney, 45, a resident of Strickland Loop Road in Livermore Falls, died unexpectedly Thursday, Aug. 4, at her home.
She was born on April 27, 1960, in Portland, the daughter of Levi and Bertha Vintinner Libby. She attended the local schools of North Vassalboro and Portland.
On May 11, 1989, she married James Sweeney of Boston. She was a homemaker all of her life, and enjoyed spending time with her family – especially her grandchildren.
Her hobbies included knitting, crafts and going to yard sales.
She is survived by her husband of Livermore Falls; four sons, Raymond Libby and his fiance, Jaime Ricker, of Livermore Falls, Shawn Libby of Livermore Falls, David Doughty of Livermore Falls and Patrick Libby, also of Livermore Falls; a sister, Edith Wood of Winthrop; three brothers, Robert Libby of Norridgewock, Edward Libby of Freeport and Ray Libby of Livermore Falls; and two grandchildren, Jonathan and Shawn Jr.
She was predeceased by her parents; a sister, Rita Fordham; and three brothers, David A. Libby, Levi C. Libby and William C. Libby.
