AUBURN – Northeast Bank’s corporate headquarters at 158 Court St. in the historic Auburn Engine House is gearing up to move to its new location at 500 Canal St. in Lewiston.

The move is slated to begin mid-August taking place in two phases with the building ready to be open to the public by the end of August.

“We will be bringing together over 80 employees from three different locations into a single facility,” said Jim Delamater, president and chief executive officer of Northeast Bank.

“This move has significant meaning for our company as we look to take advantage of improved efficiencies and to provide greater access to our family of financial services to meet the needs of the area.”

The Engine House has been sold to Maine developers who intend to lease the property for business purposes.
