WILTON – Patricia “Patsy” Mikels, 40, of Village View Apartments, Wilton, died peacefully Friday, Aug. 5, at her home, due to complications of scleroderma, which she had been battling since 1999.

She was born June 30, 1965, in Farmington, the daughter of Daniel and Lorraine (Paradis) Maillet. She was educated in local schools and graduated in 1983 from Mt. Blue High School.

She was employed as a customer service representative for a number of years at L.L. Bean.

Patsy enjoyed going statewide in North New Portland with the United Bikers of Maine every August and especially enjoyed spending time with her nephew, Devin.

She is survived by her loving parents of Wilton; one sister, Celeste Campbell of Madison; two brothers, Randy and companion, Donna, of East Dixfield, and Tim and his wife, Belinda, of Temple; two nephews, Brandon Campbell of Madison and Devin Maillet of East Dixfield; a special “sister,” Marilyn Grant of Monmouth; a very special friend, “Aunt Joan” who took care of her for the last two years; and many loving aunts, uncles and cousins.
