JAY – School Committee members have voted to increase breakfast prices at the high school by 25 cents and milk prices at all schools by 10 cents, Superintendent Robert Wall said Monday.

The board also approved a 50-cent increase in adult lunches, from $2.50 to $3.

The committee approved increasing the cost of milk for cold lunches from 30 cents to 40 cents, Wall said.

School committee members also increased the high school breakfast price to $1.25 from $1, he said.

Reduced-price breakfasts at the high school will remain at 30 cents.

Student lunch prices at the high school will also remain at $1.75 for full price and 40 cents for the reduced price.

The cost of breakfast and lunch at the elementary and middle schools also remained the same.

Breakfast at the elementary school is 50 cents for full-price meals and 30 cents for reduced-price meals. Lunch is $1.50 for full-price meals and 40 cents for reduced-price meals.

At the middle school, full-price breakfast is 60 cents, and the reduced-price breakfast is 30 cents. Lunch is $1.50 for the full-price meal and 30 cents at the reduced price.

Wall also noted Monday that Apple Computer Inc. donated 10 wireless connection ports, which are expected to be installed at the elementary and middle schools.

The board also took the following action:

• Accepted the resignations of Pamela McAllister, a middle school language arts teacher; and Amanda Brooker, a high school physical education teacher.

• Appointed Nancy Anctil and her sister, Donna Labbe, as drama coaches for grade three and grade four, respectively.

• Appointed Shelley Franchetti as a half-time library education technician II at the elementary school.
