AUBURN – Priscilla Keller, 81, of 1229 Turner St., Auburn, died Aug. 9, at her home.

She was born Sept. 27, 1923, in Norway, the daughter of Archie and Eola Goodwin. She was educated in Norway schools. After graduation, she worked at Stone’s Drug Store and then later worked in the family business, Goodwin’s Dairy, prior to getting married and raising her family.

On Oct. 19, 1952, she married Omar Keller and moved to Auburn. Together they enjoyed going for motorcycle rides in the summer and snowmobiling in the winter, until his death on Aug. 20, 1983. She also enjoyed endless hours of reading, doing crossword puzzles and knitting.

Over the years, she knit hundreds of pairs of mittens that she donated to Central Maine Medical Center at Christmas time.

She leaves two daughters, Kathy Whitehouse and her partner, Ron Kekoa, of Lewiston, and Paula Keller and her partner, Jim Cook, of Auburn; two grandchildren, Eric Whitehouse and his wife, Colleen, of Manchester, and Lisa Bell and her husband, Jesse, of Auburn; one great-grandchild, Payton Grace Bell; two brothers, Norman Goodwin of Falmouth, and Gordon and wife, Sally Goodwin, of South Paris; one sister, Ramona and husband, Gordon Lord, of Oxford; several nieces and nephews; and a very special friend who was like a sister, Phyllis Prince.

She was predeceased by her parents; and one sister, Natalie Ward.
