LEWISTON – Rolling Stones fans across New England can help the American Red Cross avert a summer blood shortage and enter a drawing to attend the Rolling Stones concert at Fenway Park in Boston on Tuesday, Aug. 23.

All who donate blood at an American Red Cross blood drive site or at a donor center in Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire or Vermont between Aug. 4 and Aug. 18 will have the opportunity to enter a drawing to win a pair of concert tickets. The Rolling Stones are kicking off their new album and world tour, called “A Bigger Bang,” at Fenway Park.

Local blood drives will be held from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 13, at the Auburn Mall, and from 2 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 16, at Our Lady of the Rosary in Sabattus.
