GORHAM, N.H. – The Gorham Historical Society is in its 32nd year of operation.

The society will hold a business meeting from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 16, in the board room of the Family Resource Center. There are a number of issues to be addressed.

The agenda will include the centennial of the Grand Trunk Station, built in 1907, in which a great deal of the museum is housed. Members want to begin planning the event and want input.

The society will look at how it can be involved with the Arts Alliance of Northern New Hampshire in the special project of the Historic and Heritage Sites of Northern N.H. Map and Guide. This will involve selecting old homes or business buildings (with the permission of the owner) that would be of interest to visitors in the area. Anyone who knows of a special building that ought to be included is asked to let a member know.
