LEWISTON – Agnes I. Pelletier, 92, of 263 Webster St., died Wednesday, Aug. 10, at Ste. Marguerite d’Youville Pavilion, where she lived for the past four years.
Born in Van Buren, Jan. 10, 1913, a daughter of Archille and Elenore Rossignol Parent, she was educated in Keegan schools.
She moved to Lewiston in 1932.
She was a member of Holy Cross Parish and worked at Bates Manufacturing Co., Hill Division, for 23 years, retiring in 1962.
In 1962, she married Joseph A. Pelletier; he died Aug. 22, 1972.
She enjoyed her home, going for Sunday drives, family cookouts and baking for her relatives. She loved family visits, playing croquet and cards, and crocheting.
She will be remembered for her one-of-a-kind sugar cookies, apple roll, coleslaw and her lovely smile, together with her contagious laughter.
She is survived by a sister-in-law, Rita Parent; many cousins, several nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and great-grandnieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by three sisters, Mary Anne Baker, Elsie Cadrin and Clara Poitras; and two brothers, Albert and Paul Emile Parent.
