LEWISTON – A gathering was held recently for Louis and Cecile L’Heureux of Harpswell, formerly of Lewiston, on the occasion of their 50th wedding anniversary. The event was held in Brunswick and hosted by their daughter and son-in-law, Joanne and Dale King.

Vases with assorted flowers adorned the inside of the house and around the pool area. A social hour was enjoyed and a buffet was served. Two violinists provided background music for the evening. The couple received many gifts and cards.

Mr. L’Heureux and the former Cecile Gagnon were married on May 30, 1955, at Holy Cross Church in Lewiston.
