JACKSONVILLE, Ark. – Rena (Tibbetts) Allen, 73, of Gaylord Farm Road, Wallingford, Conn., died Sunday, Aug., 14, at the Rebasen Medical Center in Jacksonville, Ark. She was the wife of the late Edward A. Allen.

She was born in New Sharon, Dec. 11, 1931, a daughter of the late Raymond and Doris (McCackney) Tibbetts, and had been a Wallingford, Conn., resident for 27 years.

She had been employed by Winslow Manufacturing in Wallingford, until her retirement three years ago.

She is survived by her two sons, Richard John Allen of Portland and Roger James Allen of Cabot, Ark.; her four daughters and son-in-law, Janice Ann Seeds of Branford, Conn., Joyce Amy and Kenneth Carr of Pennsylvania, June Alice Allen of West Haven, Conn., and Judith April Allen of Wallingford, Conn.; 12 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and several sisters, nieces and nephews.
