BATH – Robert O. “Bob” Reynolds, 71, of Pinkham Brook Road, Durham, passed away Friday morning, Aug. 12, at Winship Green Nursing Home in Bath, after courageously battling a series of long health problems.

He was born in Lewiston, March 28, 1934, the son of Arthur and Florence Turcotte Reynolds. He grew up in the Lisbon area and attended Lisbon schools.

He served his country well in the U.S. Army, where he served in Germany.

He was the owner and operator of Country Motor Sales for many years.

Some his enjoyments included tractors, guns, horse pulling and county fairs, especially the Fryeburg Fair. He was also a longtime member of the National Rifle Association.

He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Beverly Reynolds, of Durham; three daughters, Wauline Quick of Springfield, Ill., Kathleen Begin of Winslow and Sandy Dugal of Durham; three sisters, Shirley Curtis of Wiscassett, Nancy Ham of Lisbon Falls and Faye Brown of Lisbon Falls; nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
