DURHAM – Ralph Dennison, 77, of Freeport was injured late Wednesday afternoon in a one-vehicle crash on Route 125.

Deputy Sheriff Randy Williams said Dennison, who was alone, told him he fell asleep. His 1996 Ford minivan veered off to the right into the ditch and over a culvert at the entrance to a driveway before stopping. He was taken to Parkview Hospital in Brunswick, but was not believed to be seriously injured, Williams said. Damage to his van was estimated at $1,000.
