LEWISTON – Peter Lanese III, 43, of Mechanic Falls, died Tuesday morning, Aug. 16, at Central Maine Medical Center, after a year long illness.

He was born in Portland, Nov. 15, 1961, the son of Nancy Baade St. Peter and Peter Lanese Jr.

He worked as a sorter for many years at Personal Onsite Development.

He will always be remembered for his smile. He loved his Dunkin’ Donuts lattes and thumbing through his J.C. Penney catalogs. He also enjoyed bowling, dancing, music and especially the sunshine. He loved being around his friends. He also enjoyed watching his pet fish, Eyeball.

He is survived by his mother of Standish, Nancy St. Peter and her husband, David; his father, Peter Lanese Jr., of California; three sisters, Sandra Abbott and her companion, Steven Ouellette, of Scarborough, Nicole St. Peter of Boston, Mass., and Jo St. Peter and her partner, Michelle Scott, of Auburn; one brother, David and his wife, Kim St. Peter, of San Francisco, Calif.; and two nephews, Anthony and Ted Abbott.

He was predeceased by his grandmother, and several aunts and uncles.
