WORCESTER, Mass. – Four On A Match, a female barbershop quartet with the Mollyockett Chorus of Sweet Adelines, participated in an all-day workshop for quartets on July 30. The educational opportunity was offered for Region 1 quartets, mainly from the New England area, which includes Maine, New Hampshire, Connecticut and Massachusetts.

The Registered Quartet Association Day featured Diane Porsch, master director of the Gateway Chorus of Buffalo, N.Y., Region 16 of Sweet Adelines International.

There were several sessions during the day. Six quartets (including Four On A Match) performed and placed during the demonstration. The day closed with coaching and observation of several quartets in the region.

Members of Four On A Match have sung for a variety of clubs and organizations locally as well as in the Oxford Hills area. They specialize in classic pop tunes, songs from the World War I and World War II eras. Suzanne Bartlett is the performance contact person and may be reached at 782-2672.
