NEW DOCUMENTS: More than 50,000 pages of newly released documents show Supreme Court nominee John Roberts was a staunch defender of the conservative policies of the Reagan administration when he was a young White House lawyer.
QUESTIONS PROMISED: Democrats have said they’ll ask Roberts about his stand on abortion and privacy rights at his confirmation hearing next month.
SOME PAPERS WITHHELD: Nearly 2,000 pages of documents relating to Roberts are not being released because of privacy or security concerns.
