LEWISTON – Carol Ann Bowie, 49, of 571 Washington St., Auburn, died Wednesday Aug. 24, at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center.

She was born in Lewiston on June 26, 1956, the daughter of Donald Bowie Sr. and Doris Chaput.

She attended schools in Poland and later graduated from Edward Little High School.

She enjoyed reading, spending time with her family, catching up on sleep, and was a very hard worker but loved harder.

She is survived by her husband, Alfred Palmer, of Auburn; three daughters, Nichole Collins of Gardiner, Sarah Bowie and Katie Palmer, both of Lewiston; one son, Adam Bowie of Lewiston; her father, Donald Bowie Sr. of Poland; her mother, Doris Chaput of Rangeley; her sisters, Mary James, Tammy Seguin and Brenda Bowie; her brothers, Donald Bowie Jr., Addison Bowie, Joseph Bowie, and Mark Bowie; and eight grandchildren, Jasmine, Jamika, Jada, Christian, Seth, Lyndsy, Isaha and Chayli.
