AUBURN – Central Maine Community College will offer a series of workshops in Microsoft Access beginning Sept. 6, and one in Excel beginning Sept. 8. Workshops are offered at the beginner and basic levels (one 4-hour session each) and intermediate and advanced levels (two 4-hour sessions each).

Access classes will be held from 1 to 5 p.m. Tuesdays; Excel classes will be held from 1 to 5 p.m. Thursdays. Four-hour classes are $75 and eight-hour classes are $125. Participants receive a workbook and CD with additional exercises and skills practice. Certificate of Completion and Continuing Education Units are also awarded.

Central Maine Community College provides custom training programs for business, government, nonprofit and other organizations throughout Androscoggin, Oxford, Franklin and Lincoln counties. The college also provides non-credit classes and certification programs to individuals in those communities. Training ranges from management skills and specific occupational skills, to computer skills utilizing the Department’s computer labs.
