FARMINGTON – Tammy Frost, a clinical densitometry technologist at Franklin Memorial Hospital, recently attended an International Society for Clinical Densitometry bone densitometry course. She is now certified in this field.
To do so, she met the society’s prerequisites for education and experience, and passed a comprehensive examination on bone density testing for osteoporosis.
Frost, who’s also a certified mammographer, earned her associate’s degree in radiologic science from Clark F. Miller School of Radiologic Technology at Central Maine Medical Center School in Lewiston. She’s been employed by Franklin Memorial for seven years.
Frost lives in Livermore Falls with her husband, Elvin, and their young sons, Nathan and Carter.
