GREENE – The Greene Volunteer Fire Department announces that they will be hosting a fire muster that will include competitors from the Greene, Leeds, Wales and Monmouth fire departments, Saturday, Sept. 10, after the Greene Village Day Celebration Parade in a field off of Recreation Drive.

The parade is scheduled to start at 9:30 a.m. at the Greene Town Office and will end at Recreation Drive. All of the fire crews will then participate in several muster events that will include the wet hose, dry hose and a mystery event. Trophies and ribbons will be awarded to the winning departments in each category.

The fire department auxiliary will be sponsoring a Full Meal Deal during the muster that will include two hotdogs, chips and a drink for $2.75. All proceeds will benefit the GVFD.

The Greene Fire Department welcomes everyone to join them along with the firemen and women of Wales, Monmouth and Leeds for this special event.
