LEWISTON – Leo James Levasseur, born in Grand Isle, the son of Imelda and Oneil Levasseur, a resident of Lisbon Falls, died Aug. 27. He received his education in the Lewiston school system. He spent most of his career working in the local shoe industry.

He is survived by his wife, Evelyn; his daughters, Kara Wheeler and Marla Bonneau; son-in-laws, Adam Wheeler and Ronald Bonneau; and his newborn granddaughter, Catelyn Wheeler.
