It’s too bad George W. Bush didn’t have a real plan for Iraq other than his arrogant, “You’re with us or you’re against us” when he carried out his desire to oust the man who tried to kill his dad.

We’re back to hearing Sept. 11 links and “fight the terrorists there so we don’t have to fight them here at home.” Even his supporters on conservative talk shows have stooped to new lows, such as Rush Limbaugh’s claim that Cindy Sheehan made up the whole thing about her reason to meet with the president. I guess her dead son is supposedly part of her imagination

I wonder what Tony Blair has to say now that England is being attacked at home? I guess the fight-them-there idea didn’t work for the British.

It’s going on three years now, and we still can’t secure Iraq. Yes, there are some good things happening, but to expect people who have been at odds for over 1,000 years to immediately forget their differences is a fool’s dream.

Bush is like the car-chasing dog who catches one and wonders what to do with it.
