LEWISTON – A new “SunJournal Jobs” employment site will be partnering with MaineJobs.com to offer job seekers and employers Maine’s premier online jobs solution.

In the partnership with MaineJobs.com, an employment Web site operated by Blethen Maine Newspapers, “SunJournal Jobs” will include employment ads from the Sun Journal, Portland Press Herald, Maine Sunday Telegram, Kennebec Journal and Morning Sentinel. Employers placing ads in these newspapers will have their ads appear on “SunJournal Jobs,” including employer profiles, tools for employers to post jobs directly online, job alerts for e-mail users when certain jobs appear and other features that employers and job seekers are looking for.

The “SunJournal Jobs” site, located at www.sunjournal.com, offers job seekers and employers the latest technology in their employment searches, according to Stephen Costello, vice president of advertising and marketing of Sun Journal.

The Sun Journal is owned and operated by the Costello family, which also owns and operates: The Forecaster, a group of weekly papers in the Portland area; The Bethel Citizen, a weekly paper serving the greater Bethel area; the Rumford Falls Times, a weekly paper serving the greater Rumford area; and the Advertiser Democrat, a weekly paper serving the greater Oxford/Norway area.
