AUBURN – The Maine Small Business Development Center is offering two workshops geared toward business owners.

The first is on marketing at trade shows and fairs. Attendees can expect to learn the basics of booth design, set-up and staffing, and a review of good booth practices. The workshop is set for Sept. 16 from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

The second is cash flow basics. Attendees can expect to learn the purpose of preparing a financial statement, using documents in decision making, strategies for increasing cash flow, and other information. The workshop is set for Sept. 30 from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Both workshops will be held at the Androscoggin Valley Council of Governments building at 125 Manley Road. Cost for each is $10. Call 882-4340 for more information.
