BRUNSWICK – Yvette M. Livernois, 86, of Weymouth Street, died Monday, Aug. 29, at Mid Coast Hospital.
She was born in Brunswick on July 21, 1919, a daughter of Damase and Eva C. Levesque Livernois and was educated in St. John’s School.
On May 30, 1949, she married Jean P. Livernois at St. John the Baptist Church.
She worked at Verney Mill and later at Miller Shoe Co. in Brunswick.
She enjoyed trips to Old Orchard Beach, playing cards and bingo, family activities, and spending time with her grand and great-grandchildren. She and her husband enjoyed traveling to Niagara Falls, and cruises to Hawaii, Bermuda and the Bahamas.
She was a member of the Knights of Columbus wives group, and a former member of the Daughters of Isabella.
Surviving are two sons, Dennis G. Livernois and his wife, Patricia, of Poland, and Paul P. Livernois and his wife, Karen, of Londonderry, N.H.; three daughters, Claudette S. Randall and her husband, Dennis, of Brunswick, Theresa A. Judkins and her husband, Marshall, of Orrs Island, and A. Marie Bailes and her husband, Andy, of Bowdoinham; a brother, Henry “Pete” Caouette of Brunswick; 14 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband of 55 years, who died Feb. 16; and three brothers, Rene Caouette, Edward Caouette and Florien Caouette.
