FARMINGTON – Freckle has become a favorite cat at the Franklin County Animal Shelter. She received her name because she is all black, and on one of her shoulders, there is a reddish freckle. Freckle and her four newborn kittens came to the shelter in July of last year and all the kittens have been adopted.

In a home environment, Freckle loves to sit on the windowsill and be warmed by the sun. She also loves to watch television. Freckle gets along well with other cats, but does not like dogs.

Freckle is an all-around fantastic cat and loves getting attention. She always brushes up against peoples’ legs and comes when she is called. She would make a great addition to any dog-free home.
