The war in Iraq is different from any we have fought in before. Our soldiers cannot tell friend from foe. The enemy can conceal itself while our troops are a good target. It is easy for the foe to mine the roads our soldiers have to travel, and they bomb our vehicles to kill and mutilate all occupants.

This war is leaving widows, children without dads and mothers without sons.

It is time for our president to use strong language to tell the Sunnis, Shiites and Kurds to work together to liberate their own country. We got rid of their cruel dictator for them.

After World War II, we liberated Germany and Japan, then our soldiers came home and those who were left were not being killed.

We need our troops here to police our long borders with Canada and Mexico and immigration ports.
