PORTLAND – Mark R. Ellis has been named a senior vice president in the eCommerce Department at TD Banknorth Inc. in Falmouth. As the operations and program office manager, he will continue to manage the implementation and maintenance of eCommerce application systems, including leading project teams and overseeing enterprise eCommerce initiatives.

Ellis joined the bankin 2001 and has almost 20 years of experience in information technology, finance and banking.

A Topsham resident, Ellis volunteers with the March of Dimes. He is a 1986 graduate of Husson College in Bangor. Originally from Southbridge, Mass., Ellis is a 1981 graduate of Hillsboro-Deering High School in Hillsboro, N.H.
