AUBURN – Isabelle Cyr, 84, formerly of Mitchell Street, Lewiston, died Sunday, Sept. 4, at Clover Manor Nursing Home.

Born in Auburn, Feb. 22, 1921, daughter of Napoleon and Ella Rideout Gagne, and was educated in local schools.

She was married to Willis Cyr who died in 1999.

She was a member of the Auburn Catholic Community at St. Philip’s Parish.

She worked at Philip’s Elmet and Lounge Shoe Co.

She is survived by a sister, Sister Marguerite Gregoire O.P.; and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by Alphonse and Virginia Gagne Gregoire, who raised her; her sisters, Aurore Charest, Annette Gregoire, Antoinette Bourque and Alcia Charest; her brothers, Armand and Rosario Gregoire and Emile Gagne.
