BRUNSWICK – William “Bill” F. Powers, 84, of Mere Point Road, died peacefully Saturday, Sept. 3, at his home.

He was an active member of the Department of Maine American Legion.

Surviving is his wife, Edith Skolfield Powers, of Brunswick; two daughters; and four grandchildren.
