LEWISTON – Alice F. Blake, 75, of Lewiston, died Friday, Sept. 9, at d’Youville Pavilion with her family and friends by her side.
She was born in Lewiston at home on Nov. 14, 1929, the daughter of Richard and Esther Record Cadwell. She grew up in the Lewiston area and attended Lewiston schools.
Later in life, she married Lawrence Blake and started a family. Alice took great pride in taking care of her family and the household.
Mrs. Blake will be deeply missed by all of her family and friends. She was very special to them in many different ways.
She is survived by two sons, John L. and his wife, Lisa Vallee, of Lewiston, and Michael L. and his wife, Christina Vallee, of Germany. She is also survived by two sisters, Virginia and Patty Cadwell of Lewiston; three brothers, James, Richard, and Danny Cadwell of Lewiston.; 15 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband of 32 years, Lawrence; a sister, Nancy; two brothers, George and Dick; and a son, Danny.
